This Concorde Fuel Quantity Indicator is a vital part of the Flight Deck control systems and displays in LB x 100 the quantity of fuel in the ventral tank. Manufactured by Smiths it has Concorde Part Number: 66.09.456.00. It has ’64’ on it whch would appear to be a manufacturing date indicating it was used on the first prototypes which started construction in 1965. This item originally came from BAE at the closure of the test programme.Measuring 5cm across and 10cm deep this is an important flight deck dial but one of the more keenly priced ones.
