This item is dated 1/8/67 placing it at the very start of the test flight programme. It has Concorde Part Number 66.264.148.00. It has a hand-written note on the back of the equipment label that says “For simulator rig use only” so it is likely that although it has a Concorde part number this item was not fitted to the actual aircraft and but to the simulator used by Brian Trubshaw and the other test pilots for ground training.
We haven’t tested this unit but if connected to a 5V DC supply it should light up!
