A vital indicator for the flight crew displaying the % centre of gravity to enable the safe transfer of fuel between the 13 tanks. This specific indicator was fitted to a prototype aircraft (likely 002). It was located in the cockpit on the pilot main instrument panel and flight engineers panel, as well as the forward cabin observer’s station. The production variants featured a larger, more visible indicator with a red warning light emphasising its importance.
