This large panel measures 15cm x 28cm and houses the controls and dials for the air intakes located in the Flight Engineer’s Mid Forward panel. Used to control the operation of the unique Concorde engine air intake system design to slow down the air to subsonic speed even in supersonic flight. The panel underwent a number of design modifications over the life of the aircraft. This item is dated August 1973 placing it in the mid test era and differs in some details from later versions.

It has it’s original manufacturer’s inspection certificate attached, but it does not have a Concorde 66. Part Number on it (although it clearly matches the panel as seen above which is uniquely Concorde and not found on other aircraft).
