A production aircraft Oil Contents and Temperature Indicator manufactured by Smiths Industries. One of four indicators found on the flight engineers panel to monitor the temperature of engine oil entering the oil pressure pump, and showed the content in the engine oil tank. When the amber bulb is lighted, a high temperature exists in the engine oil entering the oil pressure pump. When the yellow bulb is lighted, the content of the engine oil tank is greater than 14 U.S quarts.
A vital secondary engine instrument for the flight engineer. A great display piece as well as a bit of aviation history that will appeal to collectors and investors alike.
