Nozzle Guide Vane (NGV) Low Pressure
A Low Pressure Nozzle Guide Vane from the British Airways Concorde fleet. This component was one of the final stages within the Olympus 593 (see engineering manual clipping). It is made of Nickel alloy Marm-002 with Nimonic 75 cooling inserts in the blades.
The blade has been left exactly as it was when it was removed from the aircraft, and it will have minor blemishes and wear consistant with the thousands of hours and hundreds of supersonic flights across the atlantic it will have taken. These individual vanes were interchanged frequently due to FOD damage and required maintenance.
This blade comes with a British Airways Certificate of Concorde Authenticity dated April 2004 and a photocopy of its placement within the original engineering manuals.
