Concorde Engine Blade – Chief Pilot Signed – Mahogany Base

This is one of the largest engine blades from Concorde. Measuring 29cm long and made from valuable titanium and nickel alloys, it was removed from the engine of one of BA’s fleet of Concorde for refurbishment, and it has now been mounted on a high quality black stained wood base with profiled edges. The base was hand crafted in Surrey in the UK from sustainable resources and has a felt layer underneath. The base has been hand signed by Captain Mike Bannister – British Airways Chief Concorde Pilot – and features a polished chrome plate as shown.

The blade has been left exactly as it was when it was removed from the aircraft, and it will have blemishes and wear consistant with the thousands of hours and hundreds of supersonic flights across the atlantic it will have taken. The blade can be polished to a high gloss finish if preferred.

This blade comes with a British Airways Certificate of Concorde Authenticity dated April 2004.

A very special gift for any aviation enthusiast.
