This synch bus protection unit is dated June 1967 and was used by BAC Filton in the Concorde test programme so likely fitted to 002 G-BSST before the maiden flight in 1969.It was sold on by BAC?BAE in 1979 atthe closure of the test programme It has a pice of fabric adhesive tape protecting the rear connector (as shown) which can be removed. A substantial and vital part of Concorde’s incredibly complex data management system.
