Unique opportunity to purchase a set of two original BA drawings of the external placards and markings on a BA Concorde.
We can not express how rare these items are.
The drawings were given to an ex Concorde engineer on his retirement from the Concorde section when the aircraft was retired in 2003.
We are now offering them for sale on behalf of him with a proportion of the sale going towards maintaining Concorde in museums.
The prints come as a pair as they refer to each other to illustrate the placards and markings on BA Concorde. They are marked as from 1985/86. Printed on what looks like wax paper, you can see where the detail has been scratched out and amended as changes to the placards were made. Some detail is written in pencil on the drawing.
These things are HUGE! To take the main two photos in this advert, they are resting on a 6 foot by 3 foot board, when properly displayed in a large room with a frame around them and mounted, these will look fantastic! The drawings measure 840 mm high and 1728 mm wide
We’ve never seen drawings like this for sale, smaller original paper drawings were available from other sellers at £2500 to £3500 each (do your research).

We can arrange to personally hand over the plans at the Manchester or Duxford Concorde if the buyer prefers. Postage will be fully insured by carrier recorded delivery, the drawings will come rolled and well packed.
